Remembering Reba Martin

A Blooming Legacy: In Loving Memory of Reba Martin
Reba was more than a steward of the gardens—she was the heart and soul of every blossom that graced our fields, a guiding light to all who wandered through our gates in search of beauty and inspiration. Her passion for flowers was not just about growing plants; it was about cultivating joy, connection, and wonder.
Every iris that unfurled its petals, every peony that swayed in the breeze, was a reflection of her deep love for nature. She saw each bloom as a gift, and she shared that gift generously—with family, friends, and visitors who quickly became friends.

Reba’s kindness was as boundless as the gardens she nurtured. Whether she was tending to seedlings with quiet dedication, sharing her knowledge with fellow enthusiasts, or simply pausing to appreciate the splendor of a perfect bloom, her presence radiated warmth and grace. Her love for these gardens, inherited from the teachings of Mr. Borglum and deepened through years of care, was evident in every petal, every leaf, every sunrise over the fields she cherished. Though she has left us far too soon, Reba’s spirit will forever be woven into the fabric of Iris Country Gardens.

Her legacy lives on in the flowers she planted, the beauty she cultivated, and the countless hearts she touched. Every spring, as the irises rise and the peonies unfold in their timeless dance, we will see her hand in their splendor and feel her love in every bloom. Rest in peace, Reba. Your love, like your flowers, continues to bloom in our hearts.
